May 31st 2008
You ever had a choice that seemed obvious, but turned out to be not what you expected? Like for instance, lets say you WON a car, nice sporty type car, ok? The day you WON the car, 2 days later your asked to go to a banquet of some sort. So your like sure why not. AN hour before the banquet someone offers you a car pool, You kindly decline for the reason you want to take your new car. So you take the car you have a good time at the banquet, and on the way home something happens that makes you not like your car. (Like you figure out the steerings weird or that it doesn't have AC) What do you do?... Sell the car, trade it in? Pretty easy...
But unlike objects there are things that you cant take back, like words for instance. Sometimes It seems like your cruising down a highway, and suddenly have no gas. It's similar to that. You have to stop and make things right some how.
Now what if the engine you have suddenly isn't as strong as you think it is, and your going up a hill that is really steep, you RELY on that engine to get you up the hill and over. People can sometimes not be as reliable as you think. Sometimes they fail you, they stall out.
Everyday i find it harder and harder to trust people, God help me to make sure I don't get to a place where I can't trust anyone. No matter what road you take or were your headed know that you can place your trust in god, even when the engine fails.

Adventure list
Hey guys, I’ve just been thinking about having a sweet adventure lately... I know that sounds really kid dish and stuff, but I have read some really sweet books, and am sick of reading because I want to live what they have experienced, kind of thing. For instance, one of the books I read was called castle something or rather and its about these solders that go inside this ancient castle and try and steal this artifact from these bad guys and stuff, yeah I don’t want to get into details but my point is that that’s something cool id want to live, and I was thinking of what an adventure needs,
I was just talking to one of my friends on face book and they told me just go out and live one, well you technically cant, because there are important contents you need to have an exciting adventure.
1) You need a purpose, weather it be, exploring or recovering something. You need to have a purpose; you can’t blindly walk somewhere and call it an adventure.
2) On top of purpose you need more then one person, yeah you can have adventures by yourself but there’s no one to compensate what you can’t do, for instance everyone has specific strengths and weaknesses to there character, that’s what makes us unique. Me? I believe I have good leadership (to an extent) good charisma, (I can talk to anyone without feeling stupid) I follow this quote, “leadership: the art of getting someone else to do something you want them to do because THEY want to do it”
I try to follow that concept. I can also maneuver around a different terrain , like agility, not all people can do that. (Climbing, Swimming, Ext)
And then my weakness is I’m not too smart knowledge wise, like facts and stuff like that, like I don’t know trees and what they can do for me and what I should or shouldn’t eat. Although I might not be smart in that intellectual area I definitely have common sense. Example: Rickety bridge, really long fall, Maybe not suitable for everyone. You see?
3) A wide range of terrain, meaning, its boring if were on the prairies, there isn’t really any natural obstacles, which make the adventure that much more exciting, Like a cave to pass through or a mountain to climb, lake to get across. You know?
4) Tools, you need stuff! Sure you might just get into a random adventure and be in a sort of speaking “naked” meaning you don’t have any equipment on you. Like a rope is good, grappling hook, food for long adventures, knifes because you never know what you’ll need them for, and like you know what I’m getting at, Sleeping bags for really long adventures, matches, basically camping items. … and of course if there’s going to be opposition, so you might need firepower of some sort? lol
5) Danger, Usually danger is what ties off an adventure, the risk taking is usually what makes the adrenalin pump. Like at the ending of this castle book, the place explodes and the soldiers have to evacuate as soon as possible with choppers, but there is a huge jump they have to get over, and they just barely make it.
Anything else I should add? Am I missing something?

Nerd Question!
May 26th 2008
Hey whats up? Its like 9:45, I just woke up. I had a nap today for once. So i wake up and start doing homework on the computer and my father comes down and says this phrase:
"Just because you had a nap doesn't mean that is going to compensate for your late nights, your still going to bed at the regular time." Uh, your assuming because for once I had a little nap that I'm thinking of staying up late? I don't know thats really weird. And then my mom just came down and asked me what I'm doing. Am i doing something out of the ordinary? The usual mother, lol. Does my parents think I'm going somewhere tonight? or I'm going to I don't know. Someone want to shed light?
Also my dad Sunday morning, As soon as we get home from church (He doesn't get up until after we leave for church) The first thing hes says to me.
"would you use your own uhh, razors" Using much nicer language then he did though. So um, someone has been through my dad's razor blades... ooo... Wasn't me, but im the scrape goat lol, it was probably himself but he can't admit things, Ive noticed the degree of selfishness he has against admitting his own faults but just blaming it on others and that really really bugs me. Of course we all do it to a certain degree,
I'm just saying that he does it a lot more then others, like about everything.
Wow, this was going to be a rare fun post, but i guess not. LOL my message is, Accept you did something stupid and move on, wow, The message on 14 cents! lets get moving guys!

As i was saying, Life is what you make of it. I was on this trip to bright water, and this guy and i both knew the trip was going to be ultimately boring with the consideration that we had the same trip when we were in grade 6 which was 4 years ago. Anyways he did everything he could to make this trip not boring, Even if our whole class was a mass amount of 7 people we had a fun time. My point is, if something is going to be stupid, or it looks like its going to be boring or whatever, challenge yourself to make it fun! Don't be stupid about it and just whine and complain, make it fun! You got 1 life to live... make the most of it, This has been said a lot but take some time and consider what the message is saying.

Hello Guys. Long time no Blog... I know, Vary selfish of me. Let me get you brought up to par. I went to Cold lake, which was really sweet, except the fact that I was tired 7/8ths of the time and I can't upload pictures because a certain someone has the camera I borrowed from them. But whatev, I'm cool. So whats been bugging me is selfish people, Forgiveness, Hypocrisy and Loyalty. ... oh and a phone call just made me think of another aspect: People who care.
So Selfishness ties into Hypocrisy here... When someone continuously on a constant bases performs specific acts that are quite pestiferous you eventually get desensitized to it, and you get use to it. Well, if there happens to be a mis communication and it makes it seem like your the one to perform the dramatic act, instead of the certain person.
You know what I'm saying? I know I told someone this Verse recently but here it is:
Mathew 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
SO that was my Hypocrisy rant... Stay Tuned for the others.

Gallows?
Broken and Repaired
So today one of the most interesting things happened at school. This guy was fixing an engine and if you are a mechanic then you know what I'm talking about when I say connecting rod.

See the little connecting rod cap, well remember that.
SO The guy working on the engine goes to start it up, It works. Theres a little clunking sound thats weird but he shuts it off and asks for approval from the teacher. Mr.Kuffner says hey thats cool, as long as it starts again. The dude goes and begins to start it, it makes the weird clunking noise. He begins to rev it up a bit more and there is a huge snap! Everyone like jumped back and the guy draws out the electrical current from the spark plug and cuts the engine. What had happened was the Connecting rod cap had malfunctioned somehow and it was under too much pressure or something and it blew apart.

Yes I got straight up pictures from inside! I feel like such the reporter. Anyways, My point is, sometimes we mess up and we break under pressure. Sometimes our parts need to be replaced or the issue or (car) were operating is too great for us and we need to call on God to help us in an urgent time, And he will always be there.

May 10th 2008
Alas yet another complete day. I just got back from a yet another solitary yet, exciting walk of contemplating about my life issues and gods amazing wonders. As I Scan my mind for something to blog about, my mind comes across the subject of interdependence. How much do you depend on someone? One person? Two people? Why? What if you were to take out that person from your life? Just vanish completely. Ever feel on a certain day that that person has deserted you, that person has vanished for only a time period. Some of us cannot comprehend the value of that person until you feel compelled to talk to them about there important role they play in your life. It's crazy. Kyle Thomas and I were Free running this afternoon and I started out with the mindset that I am so good, I can do anything they do by myself, soon to figure out that it helps to have a friend or two there to guide you. Yes I could have done it by myself, but it would have been less exciting and I might have hurt myself and not experienced what some of the stuff we did today.
With our walk with god you have that need of him to be with you, helping you along no matter what struggle your going through. I'm sure we have all sometimes forgotten about praying for a day or haven't gotten around to doing it yet, as a bad excuse. Only then when you experince what it feels like to be neglected by a friend for even a few hours you realize that, wow, I wonder if god feels like this.
Im so glad I know god, because when I am in a situation, that I know I cant keep my hand on the ledge forever, God reaches down and pulls you up, Putting you back on track. Theres friends and people that will assist you, but the only one you can fully trust and rely on to not let you go, Is Jesus.

May 9th 2008 Lunch
May 9th 2008
Hello everyone. Or I guess I should say the Peterson family and Jenn. Today started out on an interesting note. All that seemed interesting was a Macbeth Test in period 2. (theres no old or new system theres the ONLY 5 Periods before school and lunch)
Mechanic's was a weird class today though, Mr.Kuffner gave 2 guys and I an Engine to work on. Anyways long story short, He gave us the wrong sheet or something and we disassembled it instead of labeling it and stuff. Whatever that was fine we just did step 3 before step 1. No big deal.
Well during lunch I was talking to Jenn and I over heard the word camera in a conversation behind me. I patted my pocket because I am now taking my Camera everywhere to get Blog pictures and guess what, It wasn't there. I could feel my face go white and I sprinted down the hall back to the mechanics lab. I put all my valuable objects beside the table where I had disassembled the Engine.
(mp3 Player, Phone that needs activating, Camera, Wallet, MY WATCH and house keys.) When I reached the table i was at, nothing was there.
I ALMOST CRIED! I was so mad.
Anyways Thank the lord Mr.Kuffner picked them up for me. So I got to thinking for the rest of the day, What if I could go on a fast. Not like a food fast, but an Item fast.
For example, What if for one week I didn't use my MP3 player. We take items such as phones and Ipod's for granted, its become a part of our everyday lives almost.
What if we could forget one of these items and carry our Bibles around instead?
(I keep my bible in my backpack I mean like in hand)

Well, now that everyone knows about my blog I guess I'll advertise now on facebook.
So Welcome to my place to express my point of view to the world. Hope you guys comment lots, not that I'm making a blog for other people. I was tending to keep this blog as a journal type thing, but I think I'll just... make my opinions viewed in it. I don't care if it doesn't make sense to some people, because I know it makes sense to someone out there. Just think about it for a bit... See the big picture people. Cheerio :D

Hey, so that was just an introduction to the amazing adventures I tend to get myself into. This blog to me is just my get away place. So I personally don't care who reads it, I'm just going to write what I feel. About Church, School, Hangout places, Adventures. Basically just what is going on in my life.

In the picture it does say I'm Special. But the message I want people to understand is when you say special, most people then instantly assume Special Ed, Or mentally retarded. Thats the mind set we have these days. A set of words that we use to have that were positive now turned negative.
I was talking on the phone to my Grandparents a while ago, (My grampa's 95 and my grama is in her late 80's) and they asked what I did for my sisters birthday, and I said that I bought her flowers and a box of chocolates. They thought it was soo sweet of me and told me that I was a special kid. Well, obviously I thought wow thanks... But then considered they meant that I was like not just normal, I was a different kind of person, One of a kind that there is no one else like me. What I mean to say is that people are so stuck in this mindset about taking things negatively it makes me mad sometimes.
SPECIAL:
1) Surpassing what is common or usual
2) Distinct among others of a kind
