Adventure list

Hey guys, I’ve just been thinking about having a sweet adventure lately... I know that sounds really kid dish and stuff, but I have read some really sweet books, and am sick of reading because I want to live what they have experienced, kind of thing. For instance, one of the books I read was called castle something or rather and its about these solders that go inside this ancient castle and try and steal this artifact from these bad guys and stuff, yeah I don’t want to get into details but my point is that that’s something cool id want to live, and I was thinking of what an adventure needs,
I was just talking to one of my friends on face book and they told me just go out and live one, well you technically cant, because there are important contents you need to have an exciting adventure.

1) You need a purpose, weather it be, exploring or recovering something. You need to have a purpose; you can’t blindly walk somewhere and call it an adventure.

2) On top of purpose you need more then one person, yeah you can have adventures by yourself but there’s no one to compensate what you can’t do, for instance everyone has specific strengths and weaknesses to there character, that’s what makes us unique. Me? I believe I have good leadership (to an extent) good charisma, (I can talk to anyone without feeling stupid) I follow this quote, “leadership: the art of getting someone else to do something you want them to do because THEY want to do it”
I try to follow that concept. I can also maneuver around a different terrain , like agility, not all people can do that. (Climbing, Swimming, Ext)
And then my weakness is I’m not too smart knowledge wise, like facts and stuff like that, like I don’t know trees and what they can do for me and what I should or shouldn’t eat. Although I might not be smart in that intellectual area I definitely have common sense. Example: Rickety bridge, really long fall, Maybe not suitable for everyone. You see?

3) A wide range of terrain, meaning, its boring if were on the prairies, there isn’t really any natural obstacles, which make the adventure that much more exciting, Like a cave to pass through or a mountain to climb, lake to get across. You know?

4) Tools, you need stuff! Sure you might just get into a random adventure and be in a sort of speaking “naked” meaning you don’t have any equipment on you. Like a rope is good, grappling hook, food for long adventures, knifes because you never know what you’ll need them for, and like you know what I’m getting at, Sleeping bags for really long adventures, matches, basically camping items. … and of course if there’s going to be opposition, so you might need firepower of some sort? lol

5) Danger, Usually danger is what ties off an adventure, the risk taking is usually what makes the adrenalin pump. Like at the ending of this castle book, the place explodes and the soldiers have to evacuate as soon as possible with choppers, but there is a huge jump they have to get over, and they just barely make it.

Anything else I should add? Am I missing something?
